The Decision For The Netflix's Gay Jesus Film

In Brazil, a judge ruled that the film, in which Jesus was portrayed as homosexual, was removed from the digital film and television series Netflix.

The film “The First Temptation of Christ” angered the conservative Christians in the country.

Judge Benedicto Abicai said in his decision “Freedom of expression is not absolute” and asked Netflix to remove the film.

Abicai said the ruling would ease the anger in the country until it was evaluated by a higher court.

2 million people in the country has signed for the removal of the film and the film’s Brazilian producer company last month was attacked with a Molotov cocktail.

The parody film, released during Christmas, was filmed by the Brazilian YouTube comedy group Porta dos Fundos (Back Door).

In the film, Jesus takes a man who is thought to be his lover to his home to introduce him to his family.

According to BBC Turkish; some conservative Christians who were angry with this scenario attacked the pre-Christmas producer company’s office in Rio de Janeiro with molotov cocktails.

One of the attackers reportedly fled to Russia and was wanted by Interpol.

No explanation has yet been received from Netflix or Porta dos Fundos.

Brazil’s extreme right-wing President Jair Bolsonaro said earlier that his country would not allow it to be a eş gay tourism paradise,, and also said, dim I wouldn’t love him if I had a gay son..
